What Austin Outdoor has to offer:

EDUCATION & TRAINING

We offer a four-week training program for new hires, quarterly Austin University classes, monthly e-newsletter on horticulture-related topics, and tuition reimbursement for related field of study.

SUMMER INTERNSHIPS

This program can provide college students with an array of experience in the industry, including construction, management, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, plant identification & crew management.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...


Account Manager
Holly Mixon
 

Tesoro in Port St. Lucie, Florida, is where you can find Holly on a given day. As the Account Manager at Tesoro, Holly is responsible for the landscape maintenance of both the common areas and residences throughout the property. She is in constant communication with the residences and property managers at Tesoro to provide the best landscape care and service possible.


Operations Manager
JD Kershner
 

Every morning JD enjoys the beautiful Florida sunrise over Lake Siena at the Tuscan-themed, landscaped community of Bella Collina. JD is responsible for all the management and construction projects that take place at Bella Collina. He oversees and manages the Account Managers and Project Managers. He also interacts with clients, general contractors and vendors for each project.


Project Manager
David Gerken
 

David is responsible for overseeing all logistics of multiple landscape construction projects. On a given day, he can be in contact with the project’s client, general contractor, lightening specialists, delivery drivers, fountain installers, hardscape installers, as well as his own irrigation and construction crews. David ensures each project is executed to perfection.
