Irrigation Maintenance Superintendent – Central Florida (Orlando)
Austin Outdoor is a fast, flexible and growing Company that is looking for a highly professional and skilled Irrigation Maintenance Superintendent for our Central Florida (Orlando) District. The Irrigation Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing various irrigation maintenance contracts on high-profile commercial properties and resorts in the greater Orlando area.
Austin Outdoor was founded in 1994, and serves Florida from four locations, plus one in the Bahamas. We offer services from concept to completion, including Landscape Design, Landscape Installation, and Landscape Management.
General Responsibilities:
- Planning, scheduling and implementation of irrigation activities
- Quality Control, including oversight and management of multiple irrigation technicians, site inspections and scheduling repairs
- Safety and Training
Requirements:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- 3-5 years of commercial irrigation maintenance experience
- Ability to inspect properties and generate reports to insure proper service
- Good organizational skills with the ability to lead other technicians or work alone
- Strong communication skills and team work is essential
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair commercial irrigation systems
- Strong work ethic / self starter
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to train others
- Irrigation Industry and Rain Bird Maxicom hardware certifications a plus
- Bilingual a plus
- Valid Florida Drivers License
